TERMS/WAIVER – I know that running a road/trail race is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I represent that by entering this event, I am medically able and properly trained to do so. I acknowledge the health concerns of drinking alcohol before running and I represent that when the event begins, I will not have consumed alcohol for at least 12 hours prior to the race start. I represent that I will be over the age of 21 on race day – (May 18, 2019) I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including that of an official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, conditions of the trails/roads, all such risks being known, expressly assumed and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and on behalf of anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Quarry Oaks Golf Club, and all sponsors, their representatives, employees, directors, officers and shareholders, and any other persons assisting with the race, and their successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the race even though the liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver, and I agree to indemnify each of the foregoing and to hold them harmless from any and all such claims.
